What Pro actually unlocks
Foldersturn the history into somewhere you file things on purpose — a folder for staging credentials, one for the SSH commands you retype every week — and entries you file are exempt from the 200-entry eviction, so they stay until you delete them.
Inline notes attach a line of context to any entry, which is what makes a masked credential usable: the value stays hidden behind dots while the note tells you it is the staging database rather than production. Search reads those notes as well as the content, so you can find an entry you can no longer read.
Minimal view strips the window down to the list alone for screen shares and demos, and 200 entriesdoubles the free tier's history. Masking itself is free and always will be — install Clipmer and use it without paying anything.

Because your clipboard handles passwords, tokens, and private snippets — you should be able to verify there's no telemetry or hidden network call. The source is published for transparency and security audit under the PolyForm Strict License 1.0.0. It's source-available, not open source: redistribution and derivative works aren't permitted. Your $9 pays for the pre-built binary, the Pro feature unlocks, and ongoing development.
Is this a subscription?

Does Clipmer phone home or send my data anywhere?
No. The app is 100% offline — no telemetry, no analytics, no license server ping. Your clipboard history never leaves your machine. License validation happens locally using a public key baked into the app.
What if Clipmer doesn't work for me?
You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Either way, try the free version first — it runs on the same codebase as Pro, so if the free app works, Pro will too.
